Many of you have asked me the difference between Astral Projection and Quantum Jumping and whether or not it is the same thing.
I did some reading up on this and here is a quick summary:
According to creator Burt Goldman Quantum Jumping is a procedure where you “daydream” or Quantum Jump into parallel dimensions, in an effort to gain creativity, knowledge, wisdom and inspiration from alternate versions of yourself.
Quantum Jumping is loosely based on the multiple or parallel universe theory that has been mentioned in Quantum physics. With Quantum Jumping it is assumed that each person has an infinite number of variations of their lives which exist in parallel or multiple universes and you can tap into the resources and wisdom of these twin selves to get advice or energy from them.
Quantum Jumping also borrows some ideas and concepts from Energy Psychology and Energy Healing in that borrowing the rhythm or energy from your twin self may even help you to heal.
The whole concept may sound crazy but Burt Goldman appears to have proven some validity to the theory of Quantum Jumping when he recently became an excellent artist, photographer, piano player and singer well into his eighties at an age when many people are just sitting around thinking about the past.
Intrigued But At First Skeptical
You may be surprised to know that Mindvalley the company that promotes Quantum Jumping initially turned down Burt Goldman’s request for them to publish Quantum Jumping several years ago because it seemed too far out and outlandish and they were concerned about having their reputation as a publisher tarnished with such a crazy sounding product.
Burt Put His Money Where His Mouth Was
However Burt Goldman persisted and later convinced Vishen Lakhiani the president of Mindvalley to publish Burt’s material when he presented him with evidence of his prolific artwork, photography, music and singing accomplishments that occurred when Burt was well into his eighties as the result of using the techniques available in Burts’ Quantum Jumping course.
What is Astral Projection?
Astral Projection usually refers to an out of body experience (OBE). The Astral Projection theory says that there is an “astral body” that exists separately from you physical body and it is able to travel independently of your body in what is known as “the astral plane.”
Roots in Ancient Religions
The idea of Astral projection has its beginnings in ancient religion and worldwide reports of people having experiences outside of their own body.
Astral Projection is linked to ideas such as lucid dreaming and near death experiences, surgical operations, meditation, drug trips and sleep paralysis.
Some Astral Projection experiences have reportedly involved spirits meeting with doppelgangers similar to Burt Goldman’s Quantum Jumping but not always.
Again Astral Projection sounds crazy also until you consider that remote viewing and astral projection have been secretly used by the U.S. military in the past.
Many Report Out of Body Experiences!
By now you have probably heard that in the 70’s and 80’s in America up to 50 percent of respondents to a survey claimed to have experienced an OBE.
One of the most popular authorities is hypnotist and astral projection expert Steve G. Jones.
