How To Revise Your Past And Create A Brighter Future

I want to share with you a method of re framing or revising past events that if used properly can have life changing results for you.

During my twenty year career of counseling people in San Antonio I have discovered that many people are held captive by past painful memories.

If you are not at the level of success that you desire it may not be your fault.

You probably have what I call “loops” playing in your mind repeatedly. Some of the loops playing in your head are from past hurts and traumas and whenever you feel that you have failed or fallen short of success this loop will play to remind you of your shortcomings.

You may have past negative memories of reprimands from teachers or parents or perhaps someone hurt you by telling that you were ugly , or that you somehow did not measure up to their standards.

The re framing or revision process that I would like to share with you comes from a variety of sources Stewart Lichtman, Neville Goddard and Internet Marketer Frank Kern to name a few.

Here are the steps needed to re frame revise your past and create a brighter future.

1. Recall a negative event that tends to replay in your mind.

2. Now recall or rewrite the story the way you would have liked for it to have gone.

3. Now ask your subconscious mind to remember this new version of the event. Do this by saying to yourself “remember this story this way.”

Now when the loop plays you can choose to visualize the newer more positive version of the loop.

Now don’t worry about this screwing up your memory because it won’t. The old version of the loop or story will still be there in your memory but now there is a more positive version of the story to counteract the old version.

This may not be a substitute for psychotherapy but I think that you will find this simple process of revision to be very freeing and it will serve to
release any blocks that you may have regarding attainment of prosperity and wealth.

Here is an example of an actual negative loop that I have had playing in my head.

Often when things go wrong for me I recall an event where I was in my thirties and was attempting to help my father change a flat tire on his car.

My father kept telling me that I did not know what I was doing and that the the car was going to fall off of the jack because I was quote -
doing it all wrong.

I have changed many tires in my life but my father berating me caused me to get nervous and the car nearly did slip off of the jack as I was lifting the car!

I have revised this past negative memory by remembering it this way:
I was helping my father change a tire on his car and he thanked me and told me that I did an excellent job changing his tire and that he loved me. We hugged.

Isn’t that a better story to remember?

Now when I recall this event I remember the happy ending and I have no blocks or fear when changing tires in the present.

Give reframing of past events a try and let me know how it works for you.

This is an excellent technique that I learnt about through space meditation techniques in an accidental fashion. The world provides the energy to be able to make these changes and we simply must tune in to the vibrations which occur therein.
