Frank Kern’s Perfect Day Exercise
“What would you do if it were impossible for you to fail?”
- Dorothea Brande author and originator of one of the most empowering questions of all times
This extremely powerful Perfect Day exercise will help you to manifest your perfect day sooner than you ever imagined possible if you are one of the few who will take massive action by performing the recommended steps below.
I have heard and read many renditions of this Perfect Day exercise so I do not know who the originator is. But I want to give credit where it is due.
Most recently I have heard this exercise described by Internet Marketing legend Frank Kern and it is also described in written detail by persuasion expert and author Dave Lakhani in his great book entitled “The Power of an Hour”.
In a nutshell The Perfect Day Exercise asks you to imagine what your ideal or “perfect” day would look like to you.
Mark off some time during the day when you will not be interrupted and visualize step by step and detail by detail what your ideal or perfect day might look like if you could could not fail.
It is important to actually write down the steps on paper as you visualize each and every detail.
While visualizing your perfect day it is important to heed Tony Robbins or Noah St. John’s advice and ask yourself empowering questions such as:
What will I do when I awaken on my perfect day?
Where will I be?
Who will I spend time with?
What will I eat for breakfast?
Where will I go after breakfast?
What type of work will I do on this day and for how long?
What things will surround me?
What will my car look like?
Who will I work with?
Who will I meet for lunch?
What will I eat for lunch?
What type of exercise will I do?
What will I do for fun and entertainment?
Where will I sleep?
What books will I read?
What movies will I watch?
What will I hear and smell?
What clothes will I wear?
What friends will I contact?
You get the idea….the more detail the better.
You may choose to view this exercise like Joe Vitale or Shakti Gawain would suggest and write out your perfect day as a movie script with you as the starring actor.
Each day as your desires change …alter your script to adhere to you ideal or perfect day.
Instead of seeing yourself as in a movie though actually view your perfect day through your own eyes and use all of your senses to take it in. See , feel, hear and touch your perfect day so to speak.
It is also good to do as Burt Goldman and Neville Goddard suggest and mentally review the steps of each day at the end of your day before bedtime.
For each event that did not go as well as you had expected mentally change the image of the event to an image that would be more desirable to you and tell your subconscious mind to remember the more positive rendition of your memory and drift off to sleep…
By Regularly going through this perfect day exercise and and by changing your list and mental details of the events you will begin to manifest your perfect life sooner than you ever imagined.
Why does this exercise work?
I think that our mind is designed to work most efficiently when it is challenged with empowering questions.
Empowering questions such as the ones outlined above in The Perfect Day exercise give your brain definite targets to focus on.
Anyone can do this exercise but past experience as a counselor for the last twenty years tells me that very few…probably less than five percent of the people that I give this exercise to will even consider doing it.
However, if you are one of the five percent that takes the time to define what it is that you desire on your most perfect day then you will achieve it.
